Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka played a pivotal role in Brentford’s triumph, showcasing his midfield prowess for 84 minutes before being substituted, Footballrover reports

Yoane Wissa opened the scoring in the 25th minute, skillfully tapping in from close range. Bryan Mbeumo doubled Brentford’s lead with a stunning curling strike in the 62nd minute.

Burnley’s hopes of a comeback were further diminished when Roberts received a red card for two yellow card offenses, leaving them with 10 men.

Substitute Sayed Ghoddos capitalized on Burnley’s numerical disadvantage, firing in an excellent swerving shot off the post to seal Brentford’s victory.
