Following a busy transfer period, Chelsea is actively trying and expecting to seal off the transfer move for Anthony Gordon from Everton.

Although many Chelsea supporters are still unsure as to how he would help the team and how he will enhance Thomas Tuchel’s side once he officially arrives at Stamford Bridge.

The Everton academy-bred Gordon made his Premier League debut in January 2020 and spent the second half of the 2020–21 season on loan at Preston North End.

After that, the 21-year-old had a breakthrough season in 2021–2022, solidifying his spot in the starting lineup and taking home the Everton Men’s Players’ Player of the Year honor.

Many Chelsea fans were relieved when Everton declined a second £45 million bid for the England under-21 international.
