FC Robo Queens forward Folashade Ijamilusi has taken to her social media page to celebrate grabbing yet another goal in the bag this season in the Nigeria Women Football League.
The Robo Queens in-form striker netted her fifth goal of the NWFL Premiership season in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against rival Rivers Angels, Footballrover reports.
But instead of claiming individual glory, the “proud” forward was quick to shower praise on her teammates for their impressive away performances.
“Massive credit to my teammates for the solid away performance,” the humble goal scorer stated on her X page (formerly Twitter).
Folashade Ijamilusi has been on fire this season, leading the Robo Queens attack with her clinical finishing and tireless work ethic.
Her goal against the Rivers Angels brought the visitors level after conceding early in the game through Effiong Peace’s debut goal in the 21st minute.
Ijamilusi Folashade’s 47th-minute goal was enough for Robo FC to deny the Jewels of Rivers a win in their Matchday 8 clash of the NWFL at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday.
“5 goals in 8 matches! Another goal in the bag! Proud to have scored my sixth goal of the NWFL Premiership season in Robo Queens 1-1 draw at Rivers Angels. Massive credit to my teammates for the solid away performance,” she wrote after the game.
