Flamengo’s unbeaten streak extended to an impressive 11 games in all competitions after a dramatic 1-1 draw against Los Angeles FC at the FIFA Club World Cup (CWC).

This thrilling encounter saw the Brazilian giants secure their place in the knockout stage, leaving LAFC to focus on their MLS campaign, Footballrover reports.
Woodwork woes and Flamengo’s unbeaten streak
The first half was a spectacle of near misses, with the woodwork being struck a remarkable four times.
Danilo hit the back post early on, followed by Mark Delgado and Giorgian de Arrascaeta, both curling efforts onto the outside of the post.

Flamengo largely dominated, and Pedro almost snatched a controversial opener, hitting the crossbar while Hugo Lloris was down.
LAFC thought they had the lead before halftime, but Marlon’s header was disallowed for offside.
Second-half drama and late equaliser
Both goalkeepers were busy after the break. Agustín Rossi made a crucial save from Denis Bouanga, while Lloris tipped over Evertton Araújo’s curler.

The woodwork was rattled for the fifth time when De Arrascaeta struck the underside of the crossbar.
Despite Flamengo’s pressure, LAFC broke the deadlock late in the game through Bouanga, who capitalised on a quick free kick.
However, the drama wasn’t over. Substitute Jorginho threaded a ball to fellow substitute Wallace Yan, who calmly slotted past Lloris to secure a crucial equaliser.
With both teams’ fates sealed before kick-off, Flamengo’s unbeaten streak sees them advanced safely, while LAFC exited the tournament.

It’s now BATTLE OF GIANTS! The Brazilian team will now prepare to face Bundesliga side FC Bayern in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup.
