Flamengo coach and former Chelsea defender Filipe Luís has stepped forward not with criticism but with a bold prediction, calling Nicolas Jackson a future world star.

This is coming right after Jackson once again found himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, receiving his second dismissal in recent games during the clash against Flamengo, Footballrover reports.
Flamengo coach backs Nicolas Jackson’s potential
The incident against Flamengo saw Jackson shown a red card just four minutes after entering the pitch as the Blues eventually lost the game 3-1.
This followed a similar early exit against Newcastle, where he was dismissed within 35 minutes.

Despite these recent setbacks, Filipe Luís, who enjoyed a happy season with Chelsea winning the Premier League and a cup, sees past these “little mistakes”.
He believes Jackson possesses the innate quality that Chelsea needs and will “surpass this” period of disciplinary woes.
Luís, reflecting on his time at Stamford Bridge, expressed his deep affection for Chelsea, recalling the special friends and world-class players he shared the pitch with.
He emphasised the immense pressure within the club to secure titles, highlighting his understanding of the demands placed on players like Jackson.
Nicolas Jackson: A “small detail” for a big future?
Filipe Luís’s support for Nicolas Jackson paints a compelling picture.

“Jackson is so good, and he is young, and he has the quality the club needs. He will surpass this little mistake. I think the red was clear, but it is just a small detail for a big player, and he can be one of the biggest strikers in the world,” he stated as quoted by Premier League commentator Ben Jacobs
