Zack Steffen, the goalkeeper for Manchester City, has expressed his unhappiness with his team’s failure to qualify for the FA Cup final after a crushing defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.
City were knocked out of the semi-finals for the third year in a row due to his costly error.
For the first time since 2012, Liverpool beat Manchester City 3-2 to reach the FA Cup final.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper admits that the match was difficult to digest, but that all Pep Guardiola side can do now is get back up and learn from it.
The Reds had a fantastic first half, with Konate scoring just nine minutes into the contest.
Mane then snatched the ball off Steffen as he sneaked in to push the ball over the line before volleying in his second on the half-hour mark.
After the break, City came out flying, with Grealish scoring only 71 seconds after the restart.
In the first minute of stoppage time, Silva poked in from close range, but it was already too late in the end.
After the game, Zack Steffen took to his official Twitter page to say;
“Trials and tribulations, failures and successes. Thatβs life. Yesterdayβs game is a tough pill to swallow, all we can do is get back up and grow from it. Thank you to all the fans who made the trip. We will work hard to make you guys proud. We move forward,” – Zack Steffen

While City’s focus now shifts to the league, with Brighton and Hove Albion their next opponents.
“Very disappointed not to reach the final, much better from us in the second half thats what we need to focus on going into the final stage of the season. Thank you to everyone that travelled to Wembley today,” – Nathan Ake added
