City were knocked out of the semi-finals for the third year in a row due to his costly error.

For the first time since 2012, Liverpool beat Manchester City 3-2 to reach the FA Cup final.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper admits that the match was difficult to digest, but that all Pep Guardiola side can do now is get back up and learn from it.

After the break, City came out flying, with Grealish scoring only 71 seconds after the restart.

In the first minute of stoppage time, Silva poked in from close range, but it was already too late in the end.

After the game, Zack Steffen took to his official Twitter page to say;

Trials and tribulations, failures and successes. That’s life. Yesterday’s game is a tough pill to swallow, all we can do is get back up and grow from it. Thank you to all the fans who made the trip. We will work hard to make you guys proud. We move forward,” – Zack Steffen

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s hopes of winning a quadruple is still alive, and they’ll face Chelsea in the final in just over a month.

But first and foremost, they must return to the league, where they will face Manchester United on Tuesday.
