Nasarawa Amazons’ defender, Esther Adesoji, continues her stellar performance, securing the prestigious Naija Women Football League (NWFL) Team of the Week Award for the third consecutive week.
The talented player took to her Twitter page to express her excitement and pride at this significant accomplishment in her career, calling it a “fantastic moment” and attributing her success to divine grace.

The squad also featured players from Heartland Queens, Dannaz FC, Naija Ratels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, FC Robo, and Ekiti Queens, reflecting a diverse representation across clubs.
The Team of the Week, structured in a 4-5-1 formation, saw Mary Lucky from Heartland Queens leading as the top striker, supported by Fatima Solaty (Dannaz FC) and Atume Doorsuur on the wings.
The midfield comprised Taiwo Afolabi (Delta Queens), Abideen Suliat (Edo Queens), and Chinyere Igboamalu (Bayelsa Queens).
Completing the selection were Deborah Odiagbe (Edo Queens) and Shukurah Oladipo (FC Robo) as wingbacks, while Esther Adesoji partnered with Sunday Blessing (Edo Queens) as centerbacks.
Coach Tosan Blankson from Delta Queens earned the Coach of the Week title.
