This 25-year-old defender is known for his versatility, capable of holding the line as a right-back or commanding the center of the defense, Footballrover reports.

Kazie’s football journey has seen him rise through the ranks, having previously played for Kwara United and Delta Force.

However, it was at Rivers United that he truly made his mark, showcasing his skills on the continental stage.

Despite his efforts, the silverware eluded his grasp during his time with the Pride of Rivers.

Nevertheless, his contribution was undeniable, featuring in 36 continental matches for the club.

A key player in Rivers United’s triumphant 2021/2022 Nigeria Premier Football League campaign, Kazie played a crucial role, not only in defense but also contributing a goal and three assists that season.

His consistent performances have now earned him a move to the South African league, where he will compete alongside Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.

According to iDiski Times, Stellenbosch FC has secured Kazie’s services, with only a work permit standing between him and his South African adventure.

Once the paperwork is sorted, the tall defender will head to South Africa for his medicals and finalise the transfer.

Kazie joins the ranks of NPFL talents making waves abroad, following in the footsteps of Stanley Nwabali.

The two were teammates on the Nigerian home-based team that faced Mexico in a friendly in 2022.

With nearly 200 career appearances under his belt, Godswill has shown a knack for finding the net, scoring over nine goals and providing 10 assists.

Now, all eyes will be on him as he looks to cement his place in the starting lineup at Stellenbosch FC and make his mark in the South African league.
