The Nigerian international struck in the 56th minute, latching onto Yáser Asprilla’s delivery to slot the ball home, before being substituted just three minutes later.

However, Huddersfield’s Ward capitalised with two goals in quick succession, securing the win for the visitors.

Dennis’s goal against the Terriers marks his second consecutive home game finding the net since his return to Vicarage Road on loan in January.

In six appearances for Watford this season, Dennis has consistently featured for at least 35 minutes, with the clash against Huddersfield marking his longest spell on the field since his return.
