Pendikspor secured a crucial away victory over Adanaspor, thanks to yet another impressive performance from Nigerian striker Emeka Eze, who scored his third goal in the opening two matches of the season.
The Nigerian striker continued his impressive start to the season by finding the back of the net three times in just two games, sealing a 4-3 win for his side in the TFF First League last Sunday.
The highly entertaining encounter at Adanaspor’s home ground—the New Adana Stadium—saw Pendikspor emerge victorious with a hard-fought win, bouncing back to winning ways after the 1-2 defeat to Kocaelispor in their last outing at home.
Eze scored the only goal for Pendikspor in that encounter, only to bag a brace against their hosts this time around.
Eze scored in both halves of the game, capitalising on a well-timed assist to put Pendikspor ahead.
Sandro Lima gave the visitors the lead 22 minutes into the game. Eze then doubled the lead 18 minutes later, but the home team pulled one back through Metehan Altunbas just before halftime.
In the second half, both teams battled for dominance, but it was Eze’s goal that made the difference once again.
His relentless pressure on Adanaspor’s defence led to his second goal, allowing Pendikspor to extend their lead.

However, the home team kept fighting. Just 14 minutes later, Amadou Ciss pulled one back to make it 3-2, and Turgay Gemicibasi stunned the away team with an equaliser three minutes before stoppage time.
When it seemed like both sides would share the spoils, Mesut Ozdemir broke the hearts of the home fans with a winning goal two minutes later.
Pendikspor’s defence held firm in the closing minutes, ensuring they walked away with all three points.
