Nigerian forward Emeka Eze has completed a high-profile move to Sarıyer S.K., as the Istanbul-based club looks to boost its attack in the ongoing TFF First League season.

The 29-year-old striker joins Sarıyer during the mid-season transfer window, bringing proven goals and valuable experience to a side battling near the bottom of the table, Footballrover reports.

Sarıyer Sports Club confirmed the signing of Eze on their official social media platforms after reaching a full agreement with Çorum FK.

Talks between both parties were concluded smoothly, with the Nigerian forward putting pen to paper on a contract that ties him to the club’s colours for the remainder of the campaign.

Known for his strength, work rate, and sharp movement in the box, Eze is expected to play a central role in Sarıyer’s attacking plans.

Club officials expressed confidence that his arrival will add quality and belief to the squad as the season enters a crucial phase.

Eze’s Journey and Impact in the TFF First League

Sarıyer currently sit 17th in the TFF First League, having managed six wins from 19 matches so far.

With relegation pressure mounting, fans will be hoping Eze can deliver the goals needed to steer the club to safety.

Eze’s career began in Cameroon, where he featured for Oxygène de Mfou and Aigle Royal Menoua before moving to Finland in 2017 to join Rovaniemi.

His spell there produced seven goals and two assists in 21 appearances, earning him a move to Austrian side Sturm Graz. Across three seasons, he recorded six goals and three assists in 43 matches.

Since 2019, Eze has built a strong reputation in Turkey. He impressed on loan at Adanaspor, then enjoyed his most productive spell at Ankara Keçiörengücü, scoring 22 goals and adding five assists in 45 games.

During the 2021–2022 season, he finished as the second-highest scorer in the Turkish second tier with 16 goals in 30 matches.

Further stints at Eyüpspor and Istanbulspor followed before Eze revived his form at Pendikspor with 13 goals and two assists in 33 matches.

That run earned him a move to Çorum FK, where he scored eight goals and provided two assists in 20 appearances before sealing his switch to Sarıyer S.K.

With his track record in the TFF First League, Emeka Eze arrives as a timely addition and a key figure in Sarıyer’s fight to avoid the drop.
