Reflecting on his second stint at the club, Iorfa fondly recalled how he brought Lobi Stars back to reckoning and thanked the people of Benue for trusting him with the monumental task of restoring the club’s pride, Footballrover reports.

In a message filled with appreciation, Iorfa acknowledged the support from the Governor, Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia, PhD, as well as the Deputy Governor, the Speaker, and other government officials who stood by him during his tenure.

He emphasised how their trust empowered him to navigate the pressures of running the club.

Iorfa also extended his gratitude to the players, officials, supporters, and fans, praising their dedication and cooperation throughout his leadership.

He reminisced about the unity behind his reappointment, noting,

It was a unanimous decision by the people for me to come and rescue the club from the mud of relegation.”

Through hard work and determination, Iorfa’s leadership not only saved Lobi Stars from relegation but also catapulted them into the top five of the league—a feat made even more impressive by the fact that they played all their matches away from home.
