Nigerian forward Dickson Abiama his brilliance in front of goal on Friday evening, coming on as a super sub to lead Greuther Furth to a resounding home victory in the German second division.

Abiama, making a significant impact during his 25-minute appearance, not only scored a goal but also provided an assist as Greuther Furth secured a commanding 4-0 win over VfL Osnabrück in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The match at Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer stadium was decidedly one-sided, with Julian Green breaking the deadlock just before halftime, delighting the home fans, Footballrover reports

The second half began with a bang as Gideon Jung’s corner kick found Armindo Sieb, who effortlessly put the ball in the back of the net, doubling their lead.

In the 64th minute, Dickson Abiama was introduced to replace Armindo Sieb. Remarkably, within nine minutes of being on the field, the 24-year-old forward found the target, thanks to another expertly taken corner kick.

Just a minute later, Tim Lemperle sealed the victory and secured all three points for Greuther Furth.

With this impressive win, SpVgg Greuther Fürth climbed to 7th place in the 2. Bundesliga standings, amassing a total of 15 points. In contrast, VfL Osnabrück remains second to last with a mere six points.

Dickson Abiama and his teammates are now gearing up for the DFB-Pokal Cup second-round fixture against FC Homburg, which will be an away game on Tuesday evening.
