The highly anticipated Women’s Super Six playoffs took place on June 11 at the Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba, Delta.

In the 14th minute, Bayelsa Queens took the lead with an own goal by Chisom Henry, maintaining a 1-0 lead throughout the first half.

However, Chinaza Agoh of Delta Queens equalized in the 67th minute with an impressive acrobatic kick.

Agoh completed her brace in the 86th minute, securing the league title for the Asaba-based club.

As champions, Delta Queens not only claimed victory but also earned the prestigious N10 million prize money.

They will represent Nigeria in the upcoming WAFU B Women’s CAF Champions League qualifier later this year.

The regional Champions League qualifiers will determine the two finalists who will proceed to the main tournament of the CAF Champions League.

– Mercy Omokwo received the Golden Boot for scoring 9 goals
