Manchester United were completely humbled during their visit at the Etihad stadium as their city rivals – Man City secured a 4-1 win during their Premier League game on Sunday evening.

As at halftime, the Pep Guardiola side were leading Manchester United 2-1.

From a Bernardo Silva cross, Kevin De Bruyne fired the home side ahead while Jadon Sancho evened up the game against his former team with a looping strike.

De Bruyne, on the other hand, scored yet again following a scramble in the six-yard box to put Pep Guardiola’s side ahead at the break.

De Bruyne raised a corner from the left beyond the far post, and Mahrez raced on to the cross and timing his strike perfectly to beat De Gea, aided by a tiny nudge from Maguire.

90th minute, Mahrez completed the rout for City as he was played onside by Telles’ left boot. Gundogan threaded a pass through for the winger, who dashed past United’s defence before slamming a left-footed shot past De Gea into the top-right corner.

Pep Guardiola will completely be satisfied with his side’s performance.
