Former Enyimba star Daniel Daga just delivered an impressive performance for Molde, netting his first league goal and sparking an incredible comeback victory against Valerenga in a nail-biting encounter.
The young midfielder truly became a “super-sub” in the Norway Eliteserien, Footballrover reports.
Coming off the bench in the 77th minute, Daga needed just three minutes to find the back of the net, levelling the score and setting the stage for Molde’s dramatic 3-2 away win over the St. Hallvard’s men at the Intility Arena in Oslo.
This crucial goal, his first in the league this season, came despite his limited playing time, having featured in only six matches for a total of 101 minutes.

The match began with the Blå-hvit taking an early lead, thanks to veteran forward Magnus Eikrem’s goal just seven minutes in.
However, the home team quickly retaliated. Filip Thorvaldsen equalised after 16 minutes, and Fidèle Brice Ambina put the hosts ahead just before halftime, giving the Bohemians a 2-1 advantage.
The atmosphere was tense, but the entry of Daga changed everything. Replacing Eirik Hestad, the Nigerian sensation brought immediate impact, levelling the scores at 2-2.
Shortly after, striker Fredrik Gulbrandsen sealed the Blue-White’s amazing comeback with a powerful header, securing the crucial 3-2 victory just six minutes before the final whistle.
Molde’s momentum: A sweet victory over Valerenga
This thrilling win against the Bohemians marks a strong return to form for Daga and his teammates, especially after their recent narrow 1-0 loss to league leaders Viking.
Despite this morale-boosting victory, the Blue-White currently sits in 11th place in the 16-team table with 14 points.
