Cyriel Dessers put out yet another commendable performance as he inspired Rangers to a huge home win as they demolished Ross County in a thrilling Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday.
The Super Eagles striker continued his red-hot scoring streak, bagging a brilliant brace in Rangers’ emphatic 6-0 victory at Hampden Park, Footballrover reports.
Dessers kicked off the scoring in the 18th minute with a goal that set the tone for the rest of the match.
Tom Lawrence darted into the box and delivered a perfect pass to the Nigerian forward, who hammered the ball past Ross Laidlaw to break the deadlock.
But Dessers wasn’t done yet. He struck again just before the hour mark, netting Rangers’ third goal.
Rabbi Matondo displayed some neat footwork to outmanoeuvre Michee Efete, then slid a low cross into the path of Dessers, who coolly tapped it into an open net.
The goals kept coming, with Rabbi Matondo also finding the net twice, while Tom Lawrence and Brazilian forward Danilo rounded out the scoring, sealing Rangers’ first big win of the season in style.

At 29 years old, Dessers is still proving to be a formidable force, racking up five goals in just six appearances across all competitions for the Light Blues this season.
Four of those goals have come in just three league matches under Philippe Clement’s leadership.
Despite his brilliant performance, Dessers was substituted after 66 minutes, making way for Danilo to take the field.
Fellow Nigerian international Leon Balogun also started the match for Rangers but was later replaced by Mohamed Diomande after the break.
