Cyriel Dessers stared in Feyenoord’s huge win over Serbia side – Partizan Belgrade during their Europa Conference League match.

The 27-year-old, making his way back from injury, grabbed a goal to keep his excellent streak going as the visitors won at the Partizan Stadium.

The forward recorded his 11th goal of the season in Feyenoord’s 5-2 resounding victory over the Partizans in the first leg of their round of 16 UEFA Europa Conference League match.

Feyenoord controlled the game from the start, and the visitors felt they had gained ground when Cyriel Dessers scored a brilliant goal in the 40th minute.

However, after a VAR review, it was discovered that Dessers had drifted offside during the build-up.

In the second half, the Nigerian forward showed off his scoring abilities by securing their victory with a beautiful finish inside the 18-yard box.

Feyenoord overpowered Partizan Belgrade towards the end of the first leg, leaving the visitors in a fantastic position for the reverse fixture on March 17 in Rotterdam.
