Fans and officials of Ghana Black Stars were crestfallen at Al Janoub Stadium, Al Wakrah, Qatar, as the West African Side conceded two quick goals in six minutes of first half soon after a missed Penalty by Captain AndrΓ© Ayew in Round 3, Group H, match against Uruguay at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Uruguay goalkeeper – Sergio Rochet, brought down Ghanian defender, Mohammed Kudus within his goal area and referee, Daniel Siebert, awarded a Penalty in Ghana’s favour after VAR review.
Black Stars Captain, AndrΓ© Ayew, slotted the ball into the waiting hands of Uruguayan goalkeeper.

Ghanian defender – Mohammed Salisu, made a top class save in 21st minute of the first half as he cleared a goal bound ball from his goal area.
Midfielder, Giogian De Arrascaeta scored a brace for his side in 26, and 32 minutes of the first half to make the scores 2-0 for Uruguay.
The second Group H, Round 3, match played at Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan, Qatar, between Portugal and South Korea ended 2-1 in favour of South Korea.

Portugal went ahead in 5th minutes of first half with a goal from Ricardo Horta. Young Gwom Kim equalized for South Korea in 36th of the match.
Hee Chang Hwang changed the course of group H standing with a full time extra time goal to see South Korea through to knockout stage of the mundial at the expense of Uruguay.

Portugal qualified for Qatar 2022 World Cup Round of 16 as Group H leaders with six points, while South Korea ended the group matches as runners up with four points.
