Nigerian international Sikiru Olatunbosun has officially been signed by Turkish second division team Tuzlaspor on a free transfer.

Sikiru Olatunbosun joined Rivers United on a free transfer from Smouha of the Egyptian Premier Regular, but only made 10 appearances for the team during the recently ended league campaign.

The 26-year-old, who can play on both wings, only managed to score one goal in 210 minutes of action for the Nigeria Professional Football League champions.

In 2018, Olatunbosun decided to join Plateau United after leaving MFM, however he finally departed them in 2019 to begin his first spell in Turkey.

The winger makes a comeback to Turkey after previously participating in 47 games in second division, two cup matches and also featured for Ankaraspor and Menemenspor in the TFF First League between 2019 and 2021.

The forward left Ankaraspor for Smouha in September 2021, then returned to the NPFL in 2022 to play for Rivers United, the recently crowned Nigerian champions.

Olatunbosun was selected for a Nigeria XI to compete in the 2014 Expo Unity World Cup. He scored twice in the tournament’s championship match against a Colombia XI, which ended in a 7-0 rout.

He made his debut for the complete Nigerian national football team in a friendly match against Togo in June 2017 after coming into the game as a substitute.
