Bayern Munich drew 1-1 with Salzburg in the first leg of their round-of-16 Champions League clash on Wednesday night thanks to Coman’s late goal.
In the first half, the hosts were the better team, and 20-year-old Chukwubuike Adamu, a substitute, put them ahead with a curled effort past Ulreich in their first-ever Champions League knockout game.

Bayern, however took charge of the second half, but they were on the verge of falling behind 2-0 if it hadn’t been for a brilliant save and Pavard’s last-ditch block.
Coman was by far the best player for the visitors, and he scored from close range in the 90th minute to guarantee they didn’t lose.

Salzburg put up a fantastic performance, and they’re unfortunate not to be leading going into the second leg.
Bayern Munich’s perfect record in this season’s tournament is no longer intact, although they have avoided back-to-back defeats in all competitions.
The Allianz Arena will host the second leg of the tie in just under three weeks.
