Speaking to Sky Sports after propelling Chelsea to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newcastle on Monday night, Palmer disclosed his aspiration to consistently display his talents, which led him to Chelsea.

The youngster claimed that he wanted to showcase his ability week in and week out, and moving to Chelsea made that possible.

“I decided to leave City as I thought I was ready to play football week in and week out. That’s the reason I come to Chelsea,” Palmer emphasised.
