Following Rovers FC’s impressive win over Conference A leaders Madiba FC, Coach Caleb Esu has captured the hearts of fans with a promise beyond the pitch, claiming that the team is about to wear a new look.

Coach Caleb Esu took over at the start of the second NNL stanza and has led the team to two victories over Coal City FC and Madiba FC, as well as a draw against the Abia Comets, Footballrover reports.

His most recent victory was at U.J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar on Match Day 14 of the Nigeria National League.

After a thrilling first and second half of play, coach Caleb’s team finally found the back of the net in the 85th minute courtesy of an own goal.

Despite the visiting Oshodi Boys’ best efforts, Rovers FC managed to hold onto their 1-0 lead till the very end, sealing a crucial three points in front of their home FA fans.

Embracing the momentum of their narrow home victory over the weekend, Esu vowed to extend his transformative vision to Cross River State while speaking to Footballrover.

With determination and the support of loyal fans, Esu aims to breathe new life into the Rovers FC he recently took over, echoing the success witnessed in Rivers and Akwa Ibom states.

Coach Caleb Esu claimed that if he could achieve success in Rivers and Akwa Ibom State, he would surely replicate it in Cross River State, while seeking the support and prayers of all.

“I want to assure our team fans’ that the new look of Rovers FC will soon emerge. If I can do it in Rivers and Akwa Ibom State, I will also do it in Cross River State, giving me all your support and prayers,” Coach Caleb Esu said.

However, Rovers are still in seventh place with 21 points, four points behind second-place Beyond Limits FC and ten behind Madiba FC, despite their famous victory over the Conference A leaders.
