Paris Saint-Germain delivered a masterclass at the Club World Cup, thrashing Real Madrid 4-0 to end Xabi Alonso’s unbeaten run and set up a final date with Chelsea.

In front of a stunned MetLife Stadium, the Parisians showed ruthless quality to leave Los Blancos reeling from the opening minutes to the final whistle, Footballrover reports.

Fans in New York came hoping for a classic, but PSG shattered their La Liga counterpart’s hopes within minutes.

A sloppy error by Raúl Asencio gifted Ousmane Dembélé an easy chance, leading to Fabián Ruiz’s simple finish.

Moments later, Madrid’s backline crumbled again as Antonio Rüdiger’s mishit pass fell kindly for Dembélé to double PSG’s lead.

And from there, the pressure from the French champions never dropped.

Achraf Hakimi threatened with a fierce strike, then turned creator as his precise pass found Ruiz for his second goal, making it 3-0 before halftime. Madrid simply had no answers.

Xabi Alonso’s men showed little fightback. Gianluigi Donnarumma barely broke a sweat, while Kylian Mbappé’s long-range effort reminded everyone of PSG’s threat.

PSG now head into the final clash against Chelsea brimming with confidence.
