Led by Mr. David Chibuzor, representing the chairman, alongside Peter Idika, the team manager, and other dignitaries, the club displayed its determination to excel.
The unveiling introduced key officials such as Head Coach Ibe Nwagwugwu, Goalkeeper Trainer Praise Nnana, and Media Manager Shiloh Ezenwafor.
City Stars, based in Aba, aim to secure a spot in the NNL next season.
Home games will be hosted at the Enyimba International Stadium, with Wilcox Schools Ogbor Hill serving as the training ground.
Donning striking red and white jerseys, City Stars gear up for official training starting at the Wilcox.
Meanwhile, in Lagos, Ughelli Rovers Football Club emerged onto the scene on April 2nd, representing Delta State with pride.
The team unveiled Itel Nigeria as their headline sponsor, signalling a promising partnership.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of a grand patron certificate to HRM Dr. Wilson Ojakovo Oharisi III, the King of the Great Ughelli Kingdom.
This gesture solidifies the throne’s support for Ughelli Rovers, marking a significant moment in the club’s journey.
Ughelli Rovers expressed gratitude to Olorogun Samuel Akpimegi, President General of Ughelli Descendants Union, worldwide, and his team for their massive support.
