Chuba Akpom once again demonstrated his brilliance in the Europa League, delivering a decisive goal on Thursday evening to help Ajax secure a commanding 3-0 win over Qarabag.
The Nigerian forward’s fourth goal of the season came late in the match, capping off a dominant performance at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium, Footballrover reports.
His contribution was crucial as Ajax, still unbeaten across all competitions, extended their fine form in the UEFA Europa League.
Akpom, who has been in excellent form, scored in just 18 minutes on the pitch after being introduced as a substitute.
This latest strike not only wrapped up the win but also helped Ajax bounce back from their previous 1-1 draw against Slavia Prague in the Europa League, restoring confidence in their continental campaign.

Moments later, the home side was reduced to 10 men when Elvin Jafarquliyev received his second yellow card.
