In a match that will be talked about for years, Nigeria midfielder Chioma Olise played an impressive role as Trabzonspor Women delivered a remarkable 17-goal demolition of Cekmekoy in the Turkish Women’s Super League on Sunday.

Despite featuring for just 45 minutes, the 20-year-old Super Falcons star registered 3 assists against Cekmekoy, showing exceptional vision and control in one of the most lopsided victories of the season, Footballrover reports.

But it was Chioma Olise, with her sharp passes and creative spark, who stood out—especially given her limited time on the pitch.

Trabzonspor refused to ease up in the second half. Ferda Cevik struck twice in quick succession, and Buket Karadag added her second of the day.

Now fifth on the league table with 45 points from 25 games, Trabzonspor still sit five points behind Galatasaray and are unlikely to crack the top four.

They’ll wrap up their season with an away clash against Unye Kadin on May 4, 2025.
