Nigerian forward Chigozie Emmanuel Mbah displayed a MOTM performance to help Uthai Thani to a huge 4-2 home win over Muang Thong United in Round 9 of the Thai Premier League on Saturday.
Mbah found the back of the net in the second half to help his team rally from behind and secure a massive victory.
Uthai Thani trailed 1-0 after Kannarin Thawornsak gave Muang Thong United an early lead, but Mbah equalized in the 50th minute and Jiloan Hamad doubled the lead 22 minutes later.
Two late strikes from Aung Thu and Ricardo Santos handed Uthai Thani a 4-1 advantage, but Tristan Do pulled one back for Muang Thong United in the dying minutes.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward has now scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 9 appearances in the Thai League this season.
Kenneth Mamah Helps Goztepe to a Narrow Win Over Ankara Keciorengucu
In another encounter in Turkey, Kenneth Mamah scored the only goal of the game to help Goztepe seal a narrow victory over Gboly Ariyibi and his Ankara Keciorengucu side in the TFF First League.
His first-half goal was all Goztepe needed to secure all three points.
Goztepe have now enjoyed an impressive run of 6 wins, 2 draws, and 2 defeats, leaving them second on the table with 20 points, just four points clear of the league leaders, Eyupspor.
Peter Olayinka Scores Winning Goal for FK Crvena Zvezda
Meanwhile, in Round 13 of the Serbian SuperLiga encounter, Peter Olayinka scored the winning goal for FK Crvena Zvezda in their narrow away league victory over FK IMT Beograd.
Two first-half goals from Jean-Philippe Krasso and Peter Olayinka secured a 2-1 win for the visiting Red Star Belgrade side at the Vozdovac Stadium on Saturday.
They both scored within four minutes to hand the visitors a 2-0 lead, and despite a late surge from the host through Vladimir Radocaj, Peter Olayinka and his teammates managed to hang on to seal the 2-1 win and all three points after the final whistle.
The victory moves them to second place with 27 points, just three points clear of the league leaders.
