Chibuike Nwaiwu delivered a standout performance over the weekend as Wolfsberger AC cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 21-year-old Nigerian defender was rock-solid at the back and thought he had wrapped up the scoring late on, only for his last-minute goal to be disallowed for offside, Footballrover reports.
However, his overall display earned him the Player of the Match award.
Meanwhile, in Portugal, Prosper Obah made his presence felt, providing a crucial assist in FC Vizela’s five-star performance, a 5-0 demolition of C.D. Feirense.

Wolfsberger AC put on a clinical display at PROfertil ARENA, securing a convincing 3-0 win over Hartberg in Round 20 of the Austrian Bundesliga.
Chibuike Nwaiwu, despite receiving an early 6th-minute booking, played a crucial role in the triumph.
The visitors took control early, with Dejan Zukic breaking the deadlock in the 16th minute after a well-timed assist from Maximilian Ullmann.
Wolfsberger continued to dictate play and doubled their lead in the 77th minute, when Thierno Ballo calmly converted from the penalty spot.
In the 88th minute, Nwaiwu thought he had sealed the victory after finishing off a clever pass from Markus Pink, but his goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
Wolfsberger, however, left no doubt about their dominance as Thomas Sabitzer found the net in the 95th minute to complete the 3-0 rout.
For his commanding performance, the former Enyimba star was named Player of the Match, earning a rating of 8.3.
The win extends Wolfsberger’s unbeaten streak to eight games, lifting them to third place with 36 points, 13 ahead of Hartberg.

Prosper Obah registers assist in Vizela’s five-star victory
While Nwaiwu stood out in Austria, 21-year-old Prosper Obah delivered a strong performance in Liga Portugal, playing a key role in FC Vizela’s 5-0 demolition of C.D. Feirense.
Playing at Estádio do Vizela, Obah assisted the fourth goal of the match before being substituted for Damien Loppy in the 60th minute.
Vivaldo Semedo opened the scoring before doubling Vizela’s lead.
Heinz Morschel made it 3-0, and Diogo Nascimento extended the advantage before Jean-Pierre Rhyner wrapped up the comprehensive victory.
With this five-star performance, Vizela extended their unbeaten run to 10 games (7 wins, 3 draws), moving up to 6th place with 38 points, two ahead of Feirense.
