Chiamaka Nnadozie of the Super Falcons and Paris FC has been shortlisted for the D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Year Award.
She was instrumental in Paris’ victory in the French League this season, recording 13 clean sheets in 19 games.
Paris FC has three games left in the top tier this season, but has already qualified for the UEFA Women’s Champions League for next season.
Chiamaka has been nominated for the Best Goalkeeper of the Year Award, according to the official Twitter account of the National Union of Professional Football Players.

The 21-year-old joins the likes of Mylène Chavas (FC Girondins de Bordeaux), Christiane Endler (Olympique Lyonnais Féminin), Cosette Jolee Morché (GPSO 92 Issy), and Barbora Votková (Paris Saint-Germain Féminine) on a top shortlist for the award.
The Nigerian international was ranked the world’s seventh greatest goalkeeper in December 2021.
Nnadozie was also considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
Women’s goalkeeper rankings were established for the year 2021, based on their club and country performances.
When the Women Afcon competition kicks off in July 2022, she’ll be aiming to assist the Super Falcons of Nigeria retain the trophy.
