The stunning brace from Sam Kerr was all the Blues needed to turn around the game and conquer the Red Devils and their bitter rival – Arsenal to the title.

The Red Devils got out to a good start and seemed like the stronger team in the early stages, easily taking the lead through Thomas 13 minutes in.

Five minutes later, Erin Cuthbert got the Blues back into the game when the ball fell beautifully into her area, and she wasted no time in blasting home the equalizer.

The visitors continue to put pressure on the Blues, and 25 minutes in, Toone’s strike takes a huge deflection and finds its way past Chelsea keeper Andre Berger to make it 2-1, and it remained that way at the interval.

Chelsea’s female squad came out of the break with more enthusiasm and commitment, quickly equalizing two minutes later through Sam Kerr’s left-footed volley into the back of the net.

Four minutes later, the Blues took the lead for the first time as Harder drilled in a cross and Reiten was on hand to make it 3-2.

Before the Blue doubled their lead 66 minutes in with a stunning finish from Sam Kerr, who chested the ball, turned and volleyed it past Earps from 30-yards out to make it 4-2.
