Boro have eliminated numerous top-flight clubs as a second-tier side in the same campaign for the first time since 1991-92, to progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Another loss will undoubtedly place a heavy burden on Spurs as more pressure keep mounting on Antonio Conte.

When Middlesbrough hosts Luton Town in the Championship on Saturday, they will try to continue their winning streak.

Tottenham will try to get back on track against Everton in the Premier League two days later.

? β€œWe have to execute the chances that we had and close the game. I thought our fans today were massively involved and had a huge voice,” – Hojbjerg speaks after Boro loss.

While reflecting on the defeat, Antonio Conte added;

? β€œThere is only one way, to continue to work very hard with the players.”
