Cameroon return to Younde with 4 points after victory over Brazil in FIFA World Cup

Cameroon defeated Brazil on Friday night to secure a historic victory that ultimately proved futile during their FIFA World Cup game at Lusail Iconic Stadium, Lusail, Qatar.

In the second Group G, Round 3 match that was mostly controlled by Brazil, Cameroon snatched a victory thanks to a late header from Vincent Aboubakar.

Cameroonian daredevil attacker – Vincent Aboubakar, waited till the extra time of the second half of the match to shock former World Cup Champions, Brazil, with 1-0 win.

The win was, however, not enough to seal a knockout qualification ticket for the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as Brazil went through with 6 points after earlier group victories against Switzerland, and Serbia.

Cameroon will now return to Younde with 4 points after the victory against Brazil and a draw against Switzerland.
