In Ajax’s 4-0 Eredivisie victory at tge Amsterdam ArenA over Cambuur on Saturday, Calvin Bassey picked up his first career assist.

Since his summer transfer from Rangers, Bassey has made three league appearances for the Dutch champions.

24-year-old Netherlands international Steven Bergwijn, scored the opening goal barely 35 minutes into the game, before the former Tottenham star then added the second in 40th minute.

Devyne Rensch scored the third goal for Ajax in the 53rd minute to extend the resounding lead.

Ghanian midfielder – Mohammed Kudus then poked the ball into an empty net to make it 4-0 following a wonderful assist from the 22-year-old Nigerian defender after 64 minutes.
