After receiving heavy criticism from fans for failing to win even in the final game of the season, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and Fred Rodrigues have come out to apologize on behalf of the team.

The Red Devils had a poor season in the Premier League in 2021-22, and many fans are dissatisfied with the team because they only qualified for the Europa League game the following season.

After 38 games, the Ralf Rangnick team only managed to finish sixth in the standings with 58 points. The Red Devils won 16, drew 10, and lost 12 games.

On the final day of the season, Bruno Fernandes and Fred Rodrigues were part of the Red Devil’s team that lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace.

According to Fred Rodrigues;

“It was far from the season we planned back in the beginning. We weren’t able to achieve our goals and we are fully aware of it. Let’s take this break to recharge the batteries and come back even hungrier for the next one.“

He added that;

“Man United is big and we have to be the right place as soon as possible. Thanks to the fans for all the support. It will always be for you.”

While Bruno Fernandes said;

“Season over and none of our goals was accomplished. I know that individually and collectively it was not at the level that we should be.
