Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool army were humbly dealt with at the Amex Stadium as Brighton decided to trim down their ego with an embarrassing victory during their Premier League clash on Saturday evening.
Liverpool can no longer boast of being among the best teams in the league as Brighton continued their remarkable run of form with a 3-0 victory to reduce the Reds’ prospects of finishing in the top four.
In the first half, the Seagulls had a few good scoring chances, but they were unable to take advantage of them.

Solly March, though, completed a quick counter to break the tie and then added a second with a powerful left-footed strike.
The outstanding performance by Roberto De Zerbi’s men was capped off by March’s contribution of an assist for Danny Welbeck to have his name on the scoresheet as well.

The victory takes Brighton ahead of the Reds into seventh place in the standings, shocking Liverpool, who had no idea what had hit them.
Liverpool has recently shown signs of weakness, much like Chelsea. Last Saturday, they survived a late scare against Wolves to hold on for a replay in the FA Cup. And now, an embarrassing setback away from home.
