Brazil danced their way to the quarter finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after hammering South Korea 4-1 in the Round of 16 clash played at the Stadium 974 – Ras Abu Aboud on Monday evening.

South Korea placed second in Group H, behind only Portugal, but ahead of Uruguay and Ghana, to advance to this stage of the game.

At the other end, Brazil won Group G after defeated Switzerland and Serbia before a narrow defeat to Cameroon to advance to this stage.

As at the interval, the game was already beyond the reach of Korea Republic as Brazil had a 4-0 lead at the half time break.

With their brazilian approach and determination, Seleção displayed the most exciting performance of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the first half.

76 minutes on the clock, Seung-Ho Paik found back of the net for Korea Republic to make it 4-1. A free-kick was delivered, and the ball was blasted in and cleared to the edge of the post.

After taking a touch, Paik sent a beautiful half-volley past Alisson and into the goal, but could only serve as a consolation goal as Brazil sealed a 4-1 win after the final whistle.

Brazil will now play Croatia, who also qualified for the quarter final round after defeating Japan on penalties in the Round of 16 match.
