Leonardo Bonucci’s brace helped Juventus seal a 2-1 win over Venezia during their Serie A game at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Bonucci put his team ahead early in the first half, looping a header past Maenpaa just minutes after Pellegrini’s attempt hit the crossbar.
After going behind, Venezia fought back impressively, as Aramu saw a free-kick saved by Szczesny before volleying over. With a low shot into the bottom corner, he eventually grabbed his goal.
However, barely five minutes later, the Juve defender headed over what proved to be the game-winning goal from another corner.
With that win, Juventus stays in fourth place, but they’ve cut the gap on Napoli to just one point once more. Their next destination is Genoa.

Venezia has now lost nine games in a row, and they remain in last place in the league.
In their next match, they visit fellow strugglers Salernitana in midweek.
