The Akwa United coach Fatai Osho claimed that they had control of the game and believed they deserved to secure all three points against Bayelsa United.
However, he emphasized that several fundamental errors committed by his team led to their defeat.
The former Rivers United coach, Osho stressed that at this level of football, making such mistakes can be costly, and they experienced the consequences against a better Restoration Boys side.
He found it astonishing that they managed to score three goals but couldn’t secure a win or even a single point from the game.
