The Spain youngster achieved this feat in the Euro 2024 opener against Croatia, as he continues to seal off his position as one of the most promising young players in the world, Footballrover reports.

Yamal’s remarkable achievement has also made him the youngest player to start in European Championship history, surpassing Poland’s Kacper Kozlowski’s record set in Euro 2020.

During the match, the Barcelona starlet’s sublime delivery led to Dani Carvajal’s goal, securing Spain’s 3-0 win over Croatia.

The game started slow, but Spain quickly gained momentum with two goals in three minutes from Alvaro Morata and Fabian Ruiz, putting them 2-0 up by the 32nd minute.

Despite Croatia’s efforts to mount a comeback in the second half, including a controversial disallowed goal from Bruno Petkovic, Spain maintained their dominance and secured a 3-0 victory.

Unai Simon’s brilliant penalty save further highlighted Spain’s strong performance.
