Absolutely! The dynamic duo wrapped up their season in spectacular fashion, each netting a goal in Rizespor’s exciting 5-2 victory over Hatayspor on Saturday, Footballrover reports.

David, the 29-year-old, set the tone for Rizespor’s dominant performance, scoring the opening goal just before halftime.

This strike capped a productive end to the season for him, with two goals in his last three appearances and a total of eight goal contributions (three goals and five assists) across 33 matches.

His contributions have been vital in Rizespor’s fight this season.

Barely five minutes into the second half, Ali Sowe extended the home side’s lead. However, Hatayspor’s Yigit Buz pulled one back, making it 2-1.

Just as the visitors hoped for a comeback, Emrecan Bulut restored Rizespor’s two-goal advantage.

The scoring frenzy continued with Kerim Alici reducing the deficit again for Hatayspor, making it 3-2.

Ibrahim Olawoyin seals thrilling Super Lig victory

Then it was Olawoyin’s turn to shine in this captivating end of the Super Lig campaign.

The 27-year-old delivered the final blow in the 90th minute, sealing the emphatic seven-goal thrilling win for Rizespor.

Olawoyin also finished the season strongly, contributing three goals and two assists in his last five games, bringing his total goal contributions to an impressive 13 (five goals and eight assists) in 34 appearances.

While Babajide David and Ibrahim Olawoyin stole the show with their goals, fellow Nigerian Jonathan Okoronkwo played for Hatayspor but couldn’t find the net.

The victory marked Rizespor’s third consecutive win, following victories over Göztepe and Beşiktaş.

This strong finish propelled them to 10th place in the league with 49 points, having won just 15 of their, 36 games, drew four and lost 17 matches.
