Manchester City held tight at the back despite a late counterattack from Atletico Madrid to earn a 0-0 draw in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie tonight.
Los Rojiblancos took a while to improve their game, but they came near when Rodrigo de Paul and Angel Correa both wasted decent chances to force extra time.
Felipe was removed at the end of the game, while Stefan Savic was exceedingly fortunate to be able to stay on the field.
In the midst of the turmoil, City maintained their calmness and will now face Real Madrid in the competition’s last four.
