Arsenal is edging closer to winning the Premier League title after putting up yet another incredible performance to easily crush their neighbors – Tottenham to secure victory in the North London Derby on Sunday.
Following their 2-0 victory over Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mikel Arteta‘s team increased their advantage at the top of the Premier League to eight points.
Hugo Lloris’s own goal gave Arsenal the lead as he tipped Bukayo Saka’s shot from a tight angle over the goal line.
With a precise long-range effort, Martin Odegaard extended Arsenal’s lead and scored his eighth league goal of the year.
Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon were denied by Aaron Ramsdale in the second half as Tottenham attempted to respond.
The Gunners held on to keep a clean sheet, secure the victory and also all three point as they continue to edging closer in their campaign for the Premier League title.

At the Etihad Stadium on Thursday, Tottenham will play its next game against Manchester City. Next Sunday at home, Arsenal plays Manchester United in another crucial encounter for their chances of winning the title.
Mikel dedicated the derby day victory to their supporters, saying;
