The Milan midfielder – Tiemoue Bakayoko, was apprehended by the law enforcement agents earlier this month after being misidentified for someone else, according to the police.
On July 3, the Frenchman was stopped by armed police officers as surveillance footage revealed that he was being searched and the police are saying that the cops did absolutely nothing wrong.
Although the club has formally declined to comment on the situation, they have confirmed that the 27-year-old was the one seen on the video.
