Anayo Iwuala is off to a flying start in Kuwait! The Super Eagles winger produced a moment of magic to help Al Arabi kick off their season with a bang, Footballrover reports.
Iwuala’s solo goal was a thing of beauty as he danced through the Kazma defence before slotting home.
The 2-0 victory was the perfect start for Al Arabi, with Ali Khalaf getting the party started early on.
John Igbarumah: Swedish Sensation
Over in Sweden, John Igbarumah was the hero for Sandvikens IF. In a thrilling 2-2 draw against Oddevold, Igbarumah’s goal kept his team in the game.
It was indeed a tight game at the Rimnersvallen stadium, with both teams trading blows.
Igbarumah’s strike was a crucial equaliser, but Oddevold twice took the lead, with Oscar Iglicar and Daniel Krezic on target.
However, Felix Jakobsson snatched a late point for Sandvikens.
Solomon John: Mlada Boleslav Starman
Czech Republic is proving to be a happy hunting ground for Nigerian strikers.
Solomon John came off the bench to put the icing on the cake for Mlada Boleslav with a clinical finish against Ceske Budejovice.
Their 4-0 victory was a dominant display, with Martin Kralik, Vasil Kusej, and Lukas Masek also getting on the scoresheet.
John’s goal was a perfect way to cap off a memorable performance.

Emmanuel Uchenna: Ostrava’s Hero
Another Nigerian making waves in the Czech Republic is Emmanuel Uchenna.
His late strike secured a narrow 1-0 win for Banik Ostrava against ten-man Hradec Kralove.
It was a tense affair, with Jakub Kucera seeing red early on for the visitors.
Uchenna showed great composure to finish off a move with Tomas Rigo to hand his team all three points.
