After recording two goals and one assist in 34 matches last season, the Nigerian international is clearly aiming for a more productive third season with the club.

While Yusuf stole the spotlight with his impactful performance, his compatriot Obinna Nwobodo had a difficult outing for the visitors.

Nwobodo featured for only 45 minutes and struggled to find his footing before being replaced by Kevin Denkey at half-time.

Yusuf’s night ended on a high note; he played 88 minutes to a warm reception before being substituted for Jackson Yueill.

The Revolution delivered a historic performance in their 2026 home opener after crushing Cincinnati.

The win marked a milestone for new head coach Marko Mitrović, equalling the club’s largest-ever margin of victory and featuring a record-tying four headed goals.
