Alex Iwobi’s remarkable transformation at Fulham is the new talk of the town, but it’s not just his technical ability that’s sparking interest.

After a solid start to the season, Iwobi’s growth has been closely tied to a mindset shift—one that Fulham manager Marco Silva believes will propel him to even greater heights.

The Fulham boss has consistently praised the Nigerian, and recently, he described Alex as a “happy boy.”

In 13 league appearances, the 28-year-old has contributed three goals and three assists, displaying both his firing boot in front of goal and his ability to influence games.

Since joining Fulham from Everton, the midfielder has registered 14 goal involvements in their campaigns.

His creativity this season has also been key in Fulham’s five victories and draws, even as the team has faced four defeats.

The midfielder’s contribution is obviously beyond statistics. Iwobi’s composure and confidence have made him a reliable figure in the heart of Fulham’s midfield.

His recent performance in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur further shows his impact, with Silva emphasising his calm under pressure.

”You never see him panic in any moment of the game. He is going to be a top confidence player,” Silva added.

With 1124 minutes played this season, Iwobi is firmly establishing himself as a key player for Fulham, and his future looks even brighter.
