He then sealed the win with a superb curling effort in the 84th minute, capping off an exceptional display.

“I’ve always believed in Him. I know Alex very well; I took him from Arsenal to Everton. I took him from Everton to Fulham. I can use him in many different ways. Scoring many more goals, he is so important for us. He played in a slightly different position; he’s been incredible. He was fantastic tonight,” Silva said.

The Portuguese manager expressed his confidence in Iwobi’s potential, stating that he had predicted a great season for him during the pre-season, even though not everyone agreed at the time.

According to the gaffer, last season was likely the player’s best so far, but this season has been even better.
