Senegal has qualified for the AFCON 2021 final after defeating Burkina Faso 3-1 in the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
With a merited win, the Teranga Lions make it back-to-back AFCON finals. Overall, they were superior, and their calibre was simply too much for the Stallions.
Sadio Mane of Liverpool was the star of the show, with another assist and a goal to his credit.

Abdou Diallo and Idrissa Gueye of Paris Saint-Germain scored the first two goals for The Lions of Teranga, scoring both goals near the end of the second half.
Burkina Faso’s Ibrahim Blati Toure pulled one back with five minutes left, but Mane ensured there’d be no turnaround by scoring a third late on.

Burkina Faso had been a tough opponent, but Senegal was the better team in Douala, eventually winning thanks to a second-half goal frenzy.
The Lions of Teranga have advanced to their second AFCON final in a row, and their third overall!
They play Cameroon/Egypt on Sunday.
