Young sensation Adams Olamilekan led the charge for Remo Stars in a thrilling match against Lobi Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a brilliant goal and assist.

The 19-year-old forward made a significant impact, scoring a crucial goal and setting up another to secure a late 2-0 win for the Sky Blue Stars.

The game remained deadlocked until the 68th minute, when coach Daniel Ogunmodede introduced Olamilekan, Footballrover reports

Within just 22 minutes, his remarkable cross paved the way for Sikiru Alimi to break the deadlock with a brilliant header.

Shortly after, Olamilekan showcased his skill and prowess, doubling the lead with a fantastic goal, ensuring a decisive victory for the home team.

With this triumph, Remo Stars now lead the league with 29 points, narrowly edging past second-placed Doma United by a single point. 

Their next challenge awaits as they visit Heartland FC next Thursday, aiming to carry forward the momentum gained from this impressive win.

In another captivating match, Kwara United staged a remarkable comeback, defeating Plateau United 2-1 in Ilorin.

Despite Plateau United taking the lead through Albert Hilary in the 19th minute, Kabiru Balogun equalised for the home team in the 71st minute.

Sad’eeq Yusuf then sealed the victory with a decisive goal just ten minutes later.

Meanwhile, Akwa United faced a tough challenge, settling for a goalless draw against Sunshine Stars at the Eket Township Stadium.
